Symposium "Extracellular Vesicle Profiling in Blood Products"

The symposium “Extracellular Vesicle Profiling in Blood Products” will take place on October 29, 2026 at the Campus Krems.

The symposium will focus on current developments and innovative technologies for the detection, characterization and analysis of extracellular vesicles in blood products. A key objective of the event is to foster networking and scientific exchange between researchers, clinicians in the field of transfusion medicine, and industry partners.

Attendance at the symposium is free of charge. Registration is open until October 11, 2026.

EVCNA webinar, online

Collaboration is essential for having success, therefore ASEV established a partnership with the scientific journal EVCNA. To officially start the partnership, ASEV president Wolfgang Holnthoner will give a webinar on EVs in the vasculature and introduce the society. The webinar will be chaired by Michael W. Pfaffl from GSEV. You are welcome to join!

Our academia-industry coordinator Max Härtinger gave a science-to-public talk about "Eingeschrieben und zugestellt: Die post der Zellen bringt (wirklich) allen was" ("Registered and delivered: the prison mail service (really) does deliver something to everyone") in a Pint of science event.
